Fluidized beds are widely applied in many industrial processes. In order to control and optimize the operation of a fluidized bed, it is necessary develop reliable methods for measurement bubble characteristics monitor status bed. Electrostatic sensing based on detection charges particles have been characterize particle motion However, there limited research using electrostatic due complex phenomena around bubbles. this article, an imaging method two-dimensional sensor array employed experimental investigations into behaviors The size, shape, rising velocity, generation frequency measured. Moreover, optical system obtain reference information evaluate performance method. Experimental results show that measured from good agreement with system. relative root mean square error between shapes 0.239 standard deviation within 4.7%.
